20 miles north of Steamboat Springs on Routt County Road #129, then 9.5 miles northeast on Seedhouse Road (NFSR #400).
Attractions and considerations
There are 24 campsites with tables and fireplace grates, a water system (seasonal), vault toilets, dumpster and pull-through trailer spaces (under 22 feet). This campground is 4 miles west of the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness. The surrounding areas were heavily affected by a large wind event, the Routt Divide Blowdown, that occurred in 1997, and the fires of 2002. The overnight camping fee is $12.
