Directions - from Steamboat Springs, go west two miles on U.S. 40 to County Road 129, then turn right. Go north 23 miles to Pearl Lake Road, turn right to go east and drive the final two miles to the park.
Pearl Lake State Park, nestled in the mountains north of Steamboat Springs, offers peace and quiet in a lush forest setting. Surrounded by towering pines, visitors camp along the lake and up a gentle hill, which is deep in the cozy woods. Excellent fly and lure fishing is available at the park where native cutthroat trout flash their red throats when pulled from the water. This incredibly peaceful area is lush and green, a true escape from the day-to-day routine.
