Routt jobless rate rises in October

6.1% of labor force was unemployed, up from 5.9% in September

Routt County's unemployment stood at 6.1 percent in October, up from 5.9 percent in September, according to state figures released today. The number of people in the county's labor force continues to decrease. Statewide, unemployment fell from 7 percent in September to 6.9 percent in October.
