My Wireless Opens It’s 20th Store!

With the opening of our newest home town store on 675 S. Lincoln, Steamboat Springs based My Wireless Inc. now has 20 stores spanning three states; Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. My Wireless, which started with one Grand Junction store and 5 employees in 2004, has since added 19 more locations and 75 more employees! We have been recently designated as a Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer. This is Verizon’s highest honor for retail partners and means that My Wireless meets or exceeds all of Verizon’s highest national standards in terms of overall professionalism and customer service.

Founder, President, and CEO, Andrew Brown, has been in the mobile communications business for the past 15 years in Northwest Colorado. He started Cameron Communications right here in Steamboat in 1993. After 7 very successful years, Mr. Brown sold Cameron Communications (which has since become Ensignal – another area wireless provider). Mr. Brown’s golf game didn’t improve and his passionate desire to get back in the business world became too strong. In short, retirement didn’t sit well with Andy so he got back to doing what he does best.
