Matthew Grasse Tugboat Grill & Pub
The Tugboat is Steamboat's mountain bar. It is one of the few hold outs from days gone by. The atmosphere reminds me of other great ski area watering holes, lots of wood and photo's from the past. You can still boogie down to live music throughout the year. It's a warm and fuzzy feel good place. Full bar menu keeps you nourished, check out this blast from the past.

I have been goin to the tugboat for over 35 years and it is still my favorite club in steamboat. I was there this past August 6 and had a blast listening to a denver-based funk band call Buckner Funkenjazz. They get everybody dancing and having fun and really do it up, 1970's style. These guys were tight. I heard they may be there again on New Year's Eve. I hope so. If anybody knows this for certain I would appreciate an email confiming that. Thanks.
