The Cabin, the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel's premier dining experience, features a unique interpretation of High Alpine Contemporary Cuisine mixed with the finest aged Midwestern Prime Beef, Chops, Native Wild Game and jet fresh seafood in a distinctive mountain cabin atmosphere. The Cabin serves the finest USDA Midwestern corn fed beef and native Colorado wild game including elk, buffalo and trout. Meats at the restaurant are seasoned with Kosher Salt and Cracked Pepper, marked over an open flame and slowly oven roasted to ensure tenderness -- a time-consuming preparation process but well worth it with the enhanced flavor. Continental European, American, Latin and other international touches-in ingredients and preparation-flavor and define the dishes.
The Cabin was awarded the prestigious Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for its wine list for the fourth consecutive year. The Cabin features more than 250 wines by the bottle and 15 wines by the glass representing numerous wine growing regions around the globe including California, Australia, France, Germany, Austria, Chile, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Argentina and Lebanon to name a few. The wines are uniquely categorized to assist diners in deciding on an appropriate wine to accompany their menu selection.
