Steamboat Flyfisher opened its doors on May 1st, 2005 ~ however, the business is well-rooted in the area and has established itself in the community over the past ten years. Steve Henderson and Tim Kirkpatrick purchased the Steamboat Fishing Company and moved it to a new, larger location at 507 Lincoln Avenue in downtown Steamboat. We are excited to report that you'll see the same familiar faces at the new location. Personal, professional service is what you should expect when you visit our shop.
Fly fishing is our focus, and you'll feel welcome and comfortable when you stop by. For beginners to fly fishing, we offer premium entry-level equipment offered at reasonable prices. We've got everything you need to get started and hit the river right away. For experienced fisherman, we offer technical know-how as well as Northwestern Colorado's most comprehensive selection of fly tying equipment and materials.
