Steamboat's bar scene revolves around a number of slope-side and downtown bars and restaurants, and rages on most nights in the busy winter season, with live bands, happy hour drink specials and crowds of dancing fools getting their grooves on into the wee hours. When the snow melts, a wide range of music festivals take center stage in town, including Strings in the Mountains Music Festival which highlights everything from jazz and chamber music, to pop and blue grass.
