Hayden Depot 1920s
A hot summer midday is captured in this photo of the Hayden train depot in the early 1920s. Sitting in the cool shade of the depot, the barefoot son of the stationmaster waits for the next train to pass through. The clarity of this superb photograph shows the patches on the boy's overalls in addition to a full quart of milk sitting on the station porch.
