Epicurean Cafe 970-875-0997

825 Oak Street, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487 Opens today at 11 a.m.

Enjoy some of the best cusine in Steamboat. Relax in our cozy, newly remodeled dining room as you sip on wine from small and unique wine producers in France. "Marco's Selection" is a compilation of small French vineyards which produce exciting and interesting wines. Feast your eyes on the paintings and photography by local artists and listen to soothing music as you unwind from your day on the mountain. You will be transported to another place and time.

At "The Epicurean" the menu combines classic "Signature French Bistro" food with the innovative influence of ingredients found around the world. Owner and award-winning Master Buthcer/Charcutier, Marco, prepares recipes of pates, sausages and other meat specialties from his homeland, France. His wife Rebecca, an award-winning chef for Philadelphia creates such specialties as Provencal Bouillabaisse, Cassoulet du Perigord, Choucroute Alsacienne, Coquelet Basquais Roti, Beef Bourguignon and Coq au Vin. (For a list of awards and articles Click Here) The menu also includes daily specials enhanced with ingredients from other cuisines. Sous Chef Adam Betz, with his experience and knowledge, assists in making this a culinary treat here at "TheEpicurean" in downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

"Epicurean is a Gem. Near the end of our trip we were getting tired of the touristy, well-established restaurants and wanted to try something more refined and food oriented, we heard this would be the place to go. If you believe you can not eat better than a well prepared French meal then Epicurean will leave you more than satisfied. This is a small place with a nice atmosphere for a romantic meal. The chef's here really know what they are doing."
