Centrally located downtown and next to the bike path, Bud Werner Memorial library is a special stop for locals and visitors alike. Got some time to kill? Grab a latte from the library's cafe (currently operated by Mountain Brew) and head upstairs to peruse magazines in one of the libraries beautiful seating areas overlooking the Yampa River. There's plenty of desk space and WiFi if you need to get some work done. The children's section is great and will keep little ones busy with it's cool fish tank, story time and other activities. The library also hosts many informative speakers, films and other programs. Check the newspaper for upcoming events.

My kids and I love visiting the library. The children's section is very inviting, and my older son loves hanging out with a book or magazine in the window seats. What a great place to spend an afternoon!! I am amazed at the selection of books and audio books.
