More: Penguin Plunge is an annual event presented for the Healthcare Foundation for the Yampa Valley. Teams are invited to take a leap into icy cold waters and are encouraged to dress up in team costumes. Proceeds will go toward the purchase of an advanced CT scanner for Yampa Valley Medical Center; the scanner would enhance YVMC’s ability to perform cardiac imaging studies, according to event information from the Healthcare Foundation. Registration is due March 15.
